The China Arbitration Credibility Assessment Report Conference and the Second Arbitration Credibility Forum
On May 31, 2019, the China Arbitration Credibility Assessment Report Conference and the second Arbitration Credibility Forum, helded by China University of Political Science and Law and Legal Daily, was held at the Faculty Road campus of China University of Political Science and Law. Wang Shengming, Member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Deputy Director of the National People’s Congress Supervision and Judicial Committee, Shi Hai, Director of the Arbitration Division of the Public Legal Services Administration of the Ministry of Justice, and Huang Xiwu, judge of the Supreme People’s Court, and other representatives of state organs attended the conference. Leaders of dozens of arbitration institutions, lawyers, experts, researchers and business representatives, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV Social and Law Channel, The people’s Court News and Communication Agency, People’s Daily, Xinhua net and other dozens of media representatives participate in this conference. This conference was hosted by Shi Jianzhong, the vice president of China University of Political Science and Law.
On the conference, Professor Huang Jin first on behalf of CAI and Legal daily give an opening speech. And then Mr. Wang Shengming, Mr. Zhang Yan, Mr Shi Hai, Mr Zhang Yan also share their experience on how to build Arbitration Credibility. They both impress that Arbitration Assessment Report could become a very good way to promote the development of arbitration and hope China Credibility Assessment Report could continue.
Xue Tong, the Deputy Secretary-General of China arbitration institute, introduced the outcome of this assessment. The award of “National top ten arbitration institute” was revealed. CIETAC receives the highest score on this assessment with 87.9 point.
After the report conference, The second Arbitration Credibility Forum was started, Jiang Lili and other participates gave a speech about Arbitration Credibility in turn. In the end, Jiang Lili stressed that the Arbiration Credibility Reprot is one of the important work for CAI and CAI will continue do it in the future.
